Live Teardown: Simplifying Energy Campaigns, One Cringeworthy Touchpoint at a Time
AESP Annual 2026 | Learning Lab Session | Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 10:45 am – 12pm

Energy programs often lose customers not because the offer isn’t valuable, but because the message isn’t clear. Jargon-heavy flyers, dense emails, inaccessible pages, and cluttered touchpoints create friction that stops people from taking action.

In this interactive Learning Lab, Equinox Creative (EQX) will conduct real-time teardowns of energy program materials submitted anonymously. We’ll show how small adjustments to messaging, hierarchy, layout, and behavioral cues can improve clarity and conversions.

Attendees will walk away with:

  • A visual checklist for simplifying materials
  • Before-and-after transformations
  • Strategies for plain language, hierarchy, and clean design
  • Behavioral insights that support action
  • A toolkit to apply immediately

If you’d like your materials considered, submit them below. All examples will be anonymized unless you request otherwise.
